Address: PINK, Greater Manchester, United Kingdom
PINK is an artist-led gallery, studio community and events space in the centre of Stockport. Based across several floors of Hilton House, a former office building, it brings together artists, local communities and visitors through exhibitions, live music, performances, workshops, talks, screenings and social events. What makes PINK special is that it feels informal and lived-in rather than like a traditional gallery. Artists work in the building, exhibitions are made here, and the spaces change constantly depending on what is happening. You might visit for an exhibition one afternoon and come back for an experimental gig, workshop, discussion or community event later that week. The atmosphere is open, friendly and curious. PINK is a place to encounter new work, meet people, spend time with others and take part without needing to already feel part of an arts scene. It sits somewhere between a gallery, workspace, venue and social space — a place shaped by the people who use it.
